These days she seems to be back and forth about which one is up at a time and as she has one brown eye and one blue we joke that she has a Jekyll side (brown) and a Hyde side (blue) and the ear indicates which mood she's in (sweet vs. crazy). She was up to 33 pounds as of 7/3/08.

Anya is up to 36 pounds as of 6/30/08. She has grown so much that her head now touches the top of her kennel when she sits up! Remember how much growing room she had the day we picked her up? All gone now!

I have been trying to get some photos of Anya and Gideon playing together because it is just too cute! She likes to drape herself across his back and walk around the house.

Maggie, unfortunately, is just another squeaky toy to Anya. She keeps "pouncing" her like she does her beeper ball and the squeaky blowfish. Maggie reacts by barking at her and then all three chime in - not sure who Gideon is barking at, but he barks anyway!

On the 4th of July Anya saw her first fireworks. She did not like the loud noises, but loved the sparkly lights! Tried to eat them by jumping high and opening wide. Never quite got a taste though! Gideon hid in the closet because he does not like loud noises and Maggie just slept. What a collection of characters!

One question I have is about EARS. Are Jack's ears trying to stand up? Anya's have just started showing signs that they may stand up like malemute ears rather than being floppy like pyrenees ears.

Will try to get the photo thing on track.
