Well as you can probably tell from the new photos, Koda is rather mad at me right now. We decided to have her shaved yesterday to prepare her for the grueling hot Texas summer heat....she'll be thanking me come mid July & August! I have to admit she looks pretty funny right now without all the fur. She had her checkup & shots yesterday as well & she weighed in at 104 pounds! I couldn't believe it. The doc said she should be done growing height wise, but that she's gonna fill out some more through her mid section. Tim & I have jokingly come to the conclusion that Koda is never going to stop growing lol.

Hi Kerri!

She's got Jack beat by one pound! He weighed 103 about 3 weeks ago. We call him "our little pony." :)

She does look smaller without her hair. I'll bet that will really help this summer. How long will it take to grow back out?

I know what you mean, about the "never stop growing"--that's how we feel. And our vet said the same thing, that he probably has all his height but will continue to fill out and muscle up. I have GOT to get back to my strength training!

I'm not quite sure how long it will take to grow back...I'm guessing by the end of the summer it should be well on its way to being back to normal. She's been losing that never ending thick under coat for the last 2 months, so this made it a heck of a lot easier to finish dealing with that! I think she's still mad at us. Yesterday she decided to be quite the destroyer when we left the house, and she hasn't acted like that in a long time. She demolished a stack of magazines from the coffee table, destroyed a decorative pillow, and annihilated one of Tim's sandals all in one episode. Quite unusual for her these days, so I'm going with she's trying to tell us not to shave her again..lol.
