.....are the pups? Everyone "weigh" in (sorry, couldn't resist) and tell how big your pup was the last time she/he was weighed.
I'll go first. Jack was neutered two weeks ago and weighed 85 pounds. The vet doesn't think he quite through growing yet either. Yikes! We're going to hitch him up to this little wagon we've got and start letting him pull us over to the grocery store. Put those instincts to good use. :)
We haven't weighed Callie recently, but I'm thinking she's clocking around 65 pounds. She takes up two full cushions on the sofa now. Must go get my lunch cuddles.
Hi - Jake weighed 80lbs recently - the vet said he is done with his height and will just fill out now - he is a nice size the only downside is that I am still lifting him in and out of the car because of his shoulder so he is keeping me fit!!! At least I don't have to carry him up and down stairs anymore - that was a killer!!
Thanks guys, for reporting in! Callie looks so cute in those new pics you posted, Kathleen. Hope she isn't being quite the destructo-dog she was a while back. :)
Rebecca, I admire your strength! Lifting an 80 pound dog in and out of the car--that is work. When Faye and I brought Jack home after his neutering, he was still pretty loopy. We had to pretty much lift him into and out of the car. But there were two of us! And it was still hard!
Oh she's gotten a lot better. We wound up keeping her penned in a big exercise pen during rainy days for a while. We recently left her loose in the house during a stretch of a few rainy days. She DID chew on Daisy's blanket, but that was on day 3. I've been stocking up on cow hooves and they have been a godsend. I found a place where you can buy 50 for $35.
Well Callie is officially the runt. She's 67 pounds as of her vet visit this week over a torn toenail. She totally seems bigger than that and she insists she's a "big girl".
A 67 pound runt! That's good. Still a pretty big dog. We haven't weighed Jack since the 85 pounds back in October, but we are guessing that he's in the mid-nineties at least. He does seem to be finished with his height.
